In July 2016, Klaus Ritzenhöfer and Daniel Riedo, the founders of APROPOS The Concept Store, opened their first menswear store in Hamburg, Neuer Jungfernstieg 6. The latest store is located adjacent to the already existing womenswear store with a view of the Binnenalster (Neuer Jungfernstieg 16) and next to the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten.

The 250sqm store offers a curated selection of the best international brands and most exclusive men’s fashion designer labels. By using expressive materials and unique design objects, the two Paris based architects, Rodolphe Parente and Benjamin Liatoud, created an incomparable mix of luxury and fashionability. The store impresses with its high ceilings and an interior flooded with natural light. “It was designed to be more like a residential apartment than a store”, explains Rodolphe Parente.

Details such as multicoloured marble blocks piled on top of each other, pink carpets or padded chairs create a vivid setting and a feeling of being home. Especially the huge and completely mirrored dressing rooms are an exceptional highlight and illustrate the complex and detailed aesthetic of APROPOS. The new menswear store is a perfect combination of textures and striking hues.

Through its luxurious menswear, the stunning interior as well as pictures and art objects by well-known artists, APROPOS The Concept Store distinguishes itself from classical men’s outfitters.
